Dynamic members of the congregation alongside the Hands of Grace team created a Soccer World Cup theme this past Sunday. Members joined in on the action by wearing their sports jersey’s to church. A random draw was held, where members won various football accessories such as soccer jersey’s, scarfs, etc. The PCOG ministry loves to be part of the action and gives glory to God in all things. Easter Sunrise Service
PCOG gathered at the Mobeni Heights Cemetery for an Easter Sunrise Service at 6am on Sunday Morning. We enjoyed an awesome morning of prayer, worship and fellowship. What a pleasure to give glory to a living God!
Jesus for Africa march
PCOG joined the Jesus for Africa march on Good Friday to give glory to Jesus. Members gathered with crosses and placards, marching to the Chatsworth Stadium. What a pleasure to glorify the name of Jesus and honor His sacrifice!
PCOG Hands of Grace visit R. K. Khan Hospital
The Hands of Grace department had the opportunity to spend some time with the children in the Pediatric ward of R. K. Khan Hospital on Good Friday. The team was able to pray with each child and give them a prayer cloth and Easter goodie bag. What an amazing time glorifying the name of Jesus. Bringing a smile to the face of many children who are spending Easter in the hospital.
Easter Road Safety Campaign
The People’s Youth Movement of the PCOG held its annual Easter road safety campaign on the notorious Higgonsson Highway, near Chatsworth. This endeavor aims to remind motorists to be safe during the Easter period. Scores of youth attended, with placards in hand, accompanied by the South African Police Services, Metro Police, Ambulance Emergency Services and the Fire Department of Durban.
PCOG Celebrates 30 Years
The 13th of March 2018 is the 30th anniversary of PCOG. On Sunday 11th March 2018, PCOG had a celebration service to commemorate this special occasion. We have some pictures just to give you a little taste of the celebration service.
Dr. Cyril Pillay Receives Honorary Doctorate
On 23 February 2018, Dr. Cyril was awarded his second honorary doctorate in Divinity from Hebron Eco University in Sri Lanka. This was in recognition of 36 years of full time ministry and his commitment to social justice.
PCOG Anointing Service 2018
Our annual anointing services were held on the 11th of February. There was a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit and all who attended were truly blessed. God definitely showed up and showed off His glory!
